Our recruitment process

Once you submit your completed application form it goes straight to our dedicated pharmacy recruitment team. The team will carry out an initial screen and, if successful, forward your application to the relevant Regional Pharmacy Manager (based on the location that you’ve filled out on your application form).

The Regional Pharmacy Manager, who is also a pharmacist, will then call you for an informal chat on the telephone, followed by a detailed interview in person at an agreed convenient time.

We understand that going for an interview can be stressful. That’s why we want to prepare you in advance, so you can be relaxed and confident on the day.

Telephone Interview

It’s a very casual conversation to find out if your skills and experience match the role available. It’s simply a convenient way of us contacting you to acknowledge your application and progress to the next stage.

Structured Interview

Our structured interviews are spilt into four sections which concentrate on previous experiences, knowledge of Tesco, and situational based questions on drive, customer service and communication. The final two sections of the interview are based on understanding your circumstances and mobility. Finally there will be an opportunity for you to ask as many questions as you like.
