Duty Pharmacy Manager

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will be a self motivated individual who can use your own initiative to manage workload and achieve optimum levels of business performance.

Working for the UK’s number one retail company, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and provide outstanding customer care. This will be achieved by working with the Pharmacy team to deliver availability targets, develop our Prescription Collection Service and manage our Pharmacy Services to meet the needs of our customers.

A passion for healthcare and the ability to make decisions and meet targets based on your personal experiences are essential. You will need to support the Pharmacy team to meet our operational standards and be seen as an integral part of the store. You will also help maintain legal compliance across the Pharmacy Department by ensuring all staff work in accordance with our standard operating procedures.

You will be keen to lead and assist the development of pharmacy team members to deliver outstanding service to the local community. You will deliver for our customers by ensuring the “staff are great” and “know their stuff”. This will be achieved through regular coaching and training to ensure that all members of the Pharmacy team are striving to meet departmental targets and are contributing to the business plans to achieve them.

You will also support the Pharmacy Manager to complete annual reviews for all Pharmacy team members and in scheduling the Pharmacy department to ensure staff work the right hours to support the operation.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, you will need to be a strong individual that can manage the department in their absence and engage all key stakeholders to deliver an “Every Little Helps” shopping experience.
