Pharmacy Manager
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be a self motivated individual who can use own initiative to prioritise workload and achieve optimum levels of personal effectiveness by striking a fine balance between making professional and business decisions.

You will deliver an “Every Little Helps” shopping experience and ensure our customers can get what they want. This will be achieved by delivering availability targets, developing our Prescription Collection Service and managing our Pharmacy Services to meet the needs of our customers.
A passion for healthcare and the ability to influence a group of people with autonomy and flexibility to add value to decisions and meet targets based on your personal experiences are essential. You will need to manage the Pharmacy to meet our operational standards and be seen as an integral part of the store. You will also maintain legal compliance across the Pharmacy Department by ensuring all staff work in accordance with our standard operating procedures.
You will be keen to lead and develop pharmacy team members including Duty Pharmacy Managers, Dispensers and Assistants to meet targets and deliver outstanding service to the local community. You will deliver the “Every Little Helps” promise for customers. This will be achieved through regular coaching and training to ensure the staff “know their stuff” and scheduling your Pharmacy staff to work the right hours to support the operation. You will also spend structured time with your team reviewing their performance and supporting their personal development.
Reporting to the Regional Pharmacy Manager, you will need to be a strong individual that can network and build relationships with other healthcare professionals in the community to grow branch business and work effectively with all key stakeholders such as local Primary Care Trusts.
